USPS Shipping Delays

USPS Shipping Delays

Posted by Sandy on Feb 26th 2021

You've probably heard that the United States Postal Service is experiencing service delays. Beyond normal seasonal weather delays, it seems almost every package is delayed by a day or two.

While we can't control the speed of USPS, we are happy to rush orders whenever possible, no charge. If you need your order by a certain date, please contact us before ordering so we can coordinate the best shipping option. Include what you'd like to order and your zip code, and we'll figure out the best options. And then, we'll cross our fingers and hope for the best.

If you're curious about delays in your area, please check the Residential Service Disruptions page for USPS. In addition to the delays posted there, we recommend adding a day or two to the estimated delivery time just to be safe. The more wiggle room you have, the better!

This is a good resource from USPS about Delayed Mail and Packages, when mail is considered 'late,' which services come with a delivery guarantee, and what to do if your mail is delayed.

We hope they get things figured out quickly. Many small businesses rely heavily on the USPS, including us.
