I need to make a change to my order. What can I do?
When you place your order with Punky Jane, you will receive an automated confirmation email. Please check your bulk or spam folder if you don't receive one. Review your order details carefully, and contact us immediately at Order@PunkyJane.com with any corrections. Of course, we can't be held responsible for errors submitted with your order.
After 48 hours from time of your order, we may have already started your piece and therefore there may be a charge to make changes. Charges will only cover our cost for materials. And if we haven't started your order, no worries.
How long will it take to get my order?
Your Punky Jane Jewelry is made to order, by hand, after payment is received. Please allow 2-3 weeks for production of your piece plus shipping time. If you need your creation more quickly, don't hesitate to let us know in the special instructions box or contact us before ordering and we'll do our best!
Can you put a rush on my order?
If you need your order more quickly than our normal production time allows, please contact us at Orders@PunkyJane.com before ordering. If we are able to do it, we are more than happy to, but it will depend on our order volume and the number of rush orders we already have.
What are my shipping options?
We ship from Northern California via USPS and FedEx. We can’t be held responsible for delays due to undeliverable packages or carrier issues. If there is a delay, rest assured we will work with you to figure out what’s going on.
The following information is provided as a guideline and is for shipping time only, not production.
- First Class Mail: 2-8 day delivery to most U.S. Locations
- Priority Mail: 2-3 day delivery to most U.S. Locations
- FedEx Express Saver: delivered in three business days
- FedEx 2day: delivered in two business days
- FedEx Standard Overnight: delivered next business day by 3:00pm
- FedEx Priority Overnight: delivered next business day by 10:30am
How will I know my order has shipped?
If you ship via USPS, you will receive an email via PayPal at the email address on file with them when your order has shipped. For U.S. orders, it will contain tracking information.
If you ship via FedEx, you will receive an email from FedEx at the email on file with us with tracking information.
Can you ship my order as a gift?
You bet! Let us know in the Special Instructions Box at checkout, and be sure that your shipping address is to the recipient both on our site and in PayPal. We'll be sure to leave out the packing slip, and we'll even include a short gift note for you if you include the text in the Special Instructions Box.
How is Punky Jane made?
Punky Jane Jewelry is hand stamped, one letter or character at a time, using steel stamps and a heavy hammer. After stamping, your piece is oxidized (or blackened) and then finished with either a polished or a hand brushed finish. No two pieces will ever be the same...truly one of a kind!

Why isn't my necklace marked .925?
We start most of our pieces with sterling silver that we purchase in sheets. This allows us to hand cut the size and shape we need. While we could stamp each and every piece with a .925 stamp, we feel strongly about not affecting the design of the piece by adding another element.
Most pieces purchased from stores are cast or engraved, allowing the .925 to be added easily. Since we stamp each character one at a time using steel stamps and a hammer, the opposite side would be affected as well.
Each sterling silver clasp is marked with the .925.

How should I take care of my Punky Jane Jewelry?
Your Punky Jane Jewelry is made with sterling silver (.925) or fine silver (.999). A few simple tips to keep your jewelry looking it’s best:

Don’t wear your jewelry in water, or allow it to be exposed to chemicals...they will damage the finish and oxidation.

Don’t use dip-style cleaners...they will remove the oxidation (blackening of the letters).

It’s best to use a soft cloth made especially for jewelry polishing (like a Sunshine Polishing Cloth), and polish very gently.

If the oxidation gets a little lighter, it will darken again over time through the natural oxidation process.

Remember, the best way to keep your jewelry from tarnishing is to wear it!
- Please note that it’s normal for silver jewelry to show gentle wear.

You bet! We just have to handle it as a special order. We can also work with you to combine or change designs currently available into a totally custom piece. Please email us with at Orders@PunkyJane.com with the specifics of what you'd like and we will contact you with pricing.
